KDGC Ambassador Program Description
Description of duties / responsibilities of an Ambassador
As a KDGC Ambassador, you not only represent the sport, but you embody the qualities that the KDGC values and upholds. As a KDGC Ambassador you receive an exclusive KDGC Ambassador jersey Responsibilities and expectations of ambassadors are to be present in the disc golf community, to wear your KDGC jersey where possible, to promote the sport by engaging in coaching, volunteering, engaging in club events, and sharing the love of the community. |
Application Criteria:
REQUIRED:
Exhibits fair play and good sportsmanship
Is an active KDGC member in good standing
Participates in disc golf events (league, doubles, Valkyries, tournaments, etc..)
Has and maintains a positive image in the disc golf community
Required to volunteer at KDGC led events when available
PREFERRED:
Is an active PDGA member in good standing
Is a Certified PDGA Official (demonstrates an understanding of the rules of the game)
Participates in tournaments as either a player or a volunteer
Shows talent in the sport
Has a clear passion for disc golf
All applications will be reviewed by the KDGC Board and scored based on the criteria above. All applicants will be notified by email.
