Starting April 3rd, Valkyries - KDGC Women's Disc Golf - will be starting up for the 2025 season.
This year there will be two groups coming together to build skills and have fun. Most Thursday nights there will be a beginner clinic and a tournament-ready clinic.
If you are new to the game and want to build some skills to play with your partner, have fun on your own, or just learn more about the game while getting outside and moving your body, consider joining the Beginner sessions. These sessions are open to women and junior girls. They will be led by one of our competitive Valkyries and there will be a 30 minute session followed by a round of 9 holes. These clinics will be at Westsyde Centennial.
If you are a player that would like to take your game to the next level, you might consider joining the tournament ready sessions. These sessions will focus on 30-45 minutes of drill practice to help you improve your game and then there will be a handicap round of 18 holes. These sessions will move between courses throughout the season.
On alternating weeks we will come together: beginners and tournament players, to be able to mix and mingle and have some fun! These rounds of 18 holes will change courses in town and will include fun prizes and joyful BINGO! As well, join the group after the round for food and drink (location TBD).
