The Kamloops Disc Golf Club is an
active part of the Kamloops community, organizing and holding several
events each year.
Disc Golf Clinics - Our
clinics are great for introducing new players to disc golf, giving the
basic skills and knowledge necessary for total of enjoyment of this
great sport. The KDGC host clinics throughout the year for
various groups including elementary & high school students,
University students, the Cubs & Scouts as well as clinics for the
City of Kamloops Parks and Recreation.
May 2004
On May 15th, 2004
the KDGC hosted the most successful women's clinic ever in BC. We saw
30 women total, including instructors, show up to make this day one
for the history books!
Many thanks go
out to Clint Andersen for getting a lot of the behind the scenes stuff
taken care of for us. Guest instructors Tara Logan & Michelle
Wilson brought their experience and love of the game along with their
enthusiasm to the clinic. Tracy Andersen and Carrie Neal were also on
hand offering tips and advice to the many eager participants.
These four girlz did a great job!

February 2004
On February 15, 2004 the KDGC hosted
another super successful wacky
Ice Bowl. We raised 90lbs. of food $190 for our local food
bank. Thanks to all who came out and supported this worthy cause! See
ya all next year!

April 2003
Environmental Stewardship - The KDGC
is proactively working with the City of Kamloops to ensure the long
term health of Rose Hill. Controlling the spread of knapweed was
deemed top priority this year. On Saturday, April 5, 2003 a committed band of
KDGC members helped clear the back 9, collecting many bags of knapweed
for disposal by the City.

February 2003
Wacky Ice Bowl -
In February 2003 a
hearty group of Golfers came out and played a
wacky
game of golf to support the Local Kamloops Food Bank. Through
registration money and the kindness of the players, cash and a whole
lot of food was donated.
